Bio

Now retired, Will was one of three firm founders in 1987. For over 37 years, Wil developed a statewide divorce practice building a reputation for integrity and aggressive representation. He never liked to lose — and most often did not. His mentoring of Attorney Bill Phipps for two decades as well as the firm's paralegal staff instilled in the family law department DNA for client service with dedication, passion, and compassion. Wil started his career as a Superior Court Law Clerk working for Judge David Souter, who later became a United States Supreme Court Justice. In his early years, Wil developed skills as an excellent trial attorney, conducting many jury trials in a myriad of fields, including personal injury, product liability cases, and the defense of police departments and municipalities in civil rights actions. Wil’s focus in family law included his being awarded several awards for Pro Bono Service.

Wil served not only his clients but his community. He served on the Dover School Board, on the Dover City Council, as the Mayor for the City of Dover, on the New Hampshire State Board of Education, and on the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Board of Trustees.
